Flower Eruption
Childhood revisited
Second chapter.
New forms, new methods.
"Flower Eruption" is a series of
volcanic sand vases cast in paper
moulds. The sand is mixed with
resin and the mould is filled from
the bottom. After the resin dries
the mould is torn off and the finished
vase appears.
Hang Me Hang Me
Do you have a favourite spot in the park or elsewhere, where you would like to attract birds. The birdhouse is easy to set up, just attach the cord to any structure and wait for the birds to
move in. The shape of the birdhouse is a mixture between a man made one and a hanging straw nest.

Bucket Lalola
Based on my first casting technique,
as a child playing in the sandbox,
making repeated form with only a
bucket, wet sand and a shovel in hand. The light is made by following a simple mould, where the inside is constructed by hand giving a contrast between the smooth outer shape and the playfull inner side.
Crater Crater

New forms, new methods.
"Crater" is a series of
volcanic sand bowls.
Bucket Bucket (Askja)
Based on my first casting technique,
as a child playing in the sandbox,
making repeated form with only a
bucket, wet sand and a shovel in hand.
The table is made by following a simple
mould, where the inside is constructed
by hand giving a contrast between the
smooth outer shape and the playfull
inner side.
The table is made out of volcanic sand
that comes from a beach close to the
Glacier Lagoon on the south east coast
of Iceland.
The table has a box in the middle where
the user can put flowers, candles, herbs
etc. depending on the users imagination.
The images show the box filled with the
same volcanic sand that the table is made
out of.
